The concept With links between art and science an intrinsic part of the BEL-Center project, we take the initiative from the "Science" side by selecting a number of images which we believe have some graphical (or even aesthetic) quality. This is NOT a didactic attitude: the passer-by will see the images without any unsightly text. If intrigued by a peculiar presentation, the visitor will still have the opportunity to scan a QR code leading to an exclusive web page (specific for each image) with some indications or references. As explained below, we plan also to organize "walks in the park" where the interested public will meet some scientist from the BEL-Center and have an informal chat (no guided tours!) |

The project While the castle is being re-constructed, we have no meeting place for this, but have chosen to prepare an open-air exhibition of "Images of Science" on the fences surrounding the construction site. This exhibition is temporary, but we hope to repeat it with new sets of pictures, reaching an even broader community. We plan to organize a series of events, where the "Walk in the Park" will be the occasion for the interested public to stroll around, and chat with scientists present. |

First event (by invitation)
: FIRST STEPS in the PARK saturday June 25th (was a
success!) |

A recent addition, In an experiment to gauge public reaction, we have added 2 small images. They were contributed by pupils from Cerfontaine (Ht) "Ecole communale" ...While it was not intended, they happen to mirror some of the science images (a coincidence) . |
